How to stop my kitten from bullying a mommy cat?

One and half month ago we rescued a kitten whose mom had been disposed by their owner. The kitten, Golden, is now almost 3 mths old. A fews day ago we rescued a mommy cat with five newborn kittens from being disposed. The mommy cat looks contend with her new home. But my problem is Golden. He bullies mommy cat as soon as he wakes up. He jumps on her, bites, punches mommy cat - looks like if he treated her as his friend more than an enemy or a competitor. Mommycat looks annoyed even though she does not punch back. Golden also found to be interested to the kittens and we are worried if he jumps inside the kittens' shelter (just a box). Golden sucks our earlobes as he missed his mom, and we are wondering if he might feed from mommycat's. Today we separated them in two different room, but I don't like the idea as I prefer them both to be free in the house. FYI, Golden is a hyperactive kitten, even my vet said that he is a cat. Any advise please??

Bad stretch marks because of pregnancy!?

I've backpacked through Europe twice. Trust me, you're in for the time of your life. I'd defenitly do Switzerland, but go to Interlaken instead. Its beautiful, stay at Balmers. I'd also add prague, vienna, and budapest to the mix. How Badly Were You Ripped Off On Textbooks For This Upcoming Semester?

I know it has been said a million times before but it is important that we all renew our objection to this thinly veiled scam. Let me tell you how much i spent. Motorcycle repair?

my cat whiskers is a 6-7 year old tortil-shell female cat. when we got her as a kitten she was fine she would try and play with our older cat trixy now 9 years old. but when she turnned 3 she went evil. she would scratch and bite but then she had kittens at 4 years she calmed down but sadly 1 got ran over at the age of 8 and a half months (R.I.P pepper) and her brother (smoky) ran off but he had not been spayed.she had another kitten litter last year (socks, lily, tiger, sooty and pepsi) fine we got ride of sooty pepsi and tiger (now have good homes) she calmed down again now here is the sad part one day we let her outside for fresh air (we have trained our cats to come back by there names) she didnt come back for 2 weeks turn out someonelocked in a cole sealer for 2 weeks with no food :( she is fine now but went sico she is a fighter as in killer so she has lost a K.9 tooth she is fine though but she doesnt like being toched ever since she was 3 years old

OK, my husband and I are property virgins, (love the show!) but we have a contract for a manufactured house in a small town. Today we had a phone call saying that we needed to pay an extra $500 for a elevation survey (requirement for the mortgage lender) ok, then we get a phone call from our realtor saying the seller won't pay to get siding patched up cause its to cold outside right now. OK, later we get another phone call from our bank saying that we can't get a loan now because it is a manufactured home? WTF, we have been working our a$$es off trying to get all this paper work done over the last 2 weeks to be able to close in another 2 weeks, and you are just now telling me that we cant get an approved mortgage because its a manufactured home? Am I missing something here? They put us through an RD loan, but we originally wanted a VA loan. What can we do? Our baby is expected to arrive in 5 weeks, we now live in a one bedroom apartment, we have to move to another county (husband is a deputy) and nothing is available to rent! O and other property to buy is kinda out of the question.. small towns, not much to buy.. Is this house worth it? 2.5 bath, 3 bedrooms, fireplace, double garage, all appliances included, outside has beautiful landscaping with underground sprinklers..paying 2 grand under the appraised value.. i havent been to uni yet, but when i was in highschool our food was a mixture. everyday they would cook everything, like pizza, sandwiches, soup, salad, and there was always a special of the day. sometimes it was calzones, other times lasagna, or cream pasta. it was always really good food!! we weren't offered and burgers or fries, most of the food was very home food like. it was pretty delish.

Why is my cold water fish tank gone white cloudy ?

Hi I got a nice fish tank 60cm x 30cm x 35cm from my friend. I cleaned it when I got it with hot water, then it "sat" in my room for about 4 months. I finally decided to get fish I have: 5x Long-fin Danio and 2x Red Fantail Goldfish and I put 2x Vallisenaria plants (i don't know the names I have it on my receipt :P) and a 101F Aqua One Submersible filter (i have an air tube to it so that there is air in the tank). I also have pebbles off the shore xD im on low budget here hehe I put them in an oven to get rid off the bacteria and then I rinsed them off. I used tap water in my tank (the local fish shop person said it will be fine) I didn't do any special filtration cycles with special liquids or measure the PH in the water (budget). The water was clear until a day after I put the fish in the tank... The filter is good 350l/h so I don't know whats wrong. The water is sort of cloudy white colour, I read on the web about bloom and stuff but I don't quite understand it :( Can anyone help ??? It would be really nice :D

Am I on the right track to losing weight?

I'm a 31 year old male, and about 6 months ago, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer. I weighed about 240 lbs and after the surgery, I gained some weight. I topped out at 275 lbs. I decided to see a nutritionist to help lose the weight. I'm on a high protien, low carb diet. I was also given some medication to supress my appetite. I started this diet in the beginning of February. In the first month, I lost 24 lbs, just by watching what I ate and no excersise. Since the beginning of March I began using a treadmill. I walk at a speed of 3.5 mph and do an hour, 6 days a week. I'm down to 237 lbs now. Am I on the right track and how long should I start seeing some of this fat melt away. One I hit 220, I plan on doing some weight lifting. Any suggestions?

I was recently fired from my job and I had been employeed there for 7 years. When I called to get my schedule the girl who does the schedule told me what I was supposed to work which was thursday and tuesday. I went in on thursday clocked in and was getting ready to start working when one of the office ociates told me that I was not supposed to be there. I told him who had told me my schedule and he told me to go talk to one of the managers and see what he wanted me to do. I talked to the manager and he told me to hold on and he would see if he could find something for me to do. He came back and told me that he had nothing for me to do. I said ok and asked if it would be ok for me to sit in the break room since i didn't have a ride and my parents would be back to get me and he said that would be fine. I was mad because I had a school event I could have went to but instead I was stuck at my job with nothing to do. I sat in the break room and did homework until my parents came to pick me up. Just as I was about to leave (after my parents came back to get me) the manager I had talked to asked me if I had clocked in when I got there and I told him that I did but after the whole situation happened I forgot to clock back out. He told me not to worry about just to doent it on our time sheets and he would take it off later on that night. I did that and as I was about to leave the store manager came out of t he security room and wanted to talk to me. He badgered me and asked me why I was in the store when I was not working and I told him what had happened. Obviously he didn't believe me and continued to badger me and was like well why did you even clock in and all this other stuff. The store manager even talked to the other mananger that had helped me out earlier and he told him everything and the store manager thought I had told him to say what he said. The store manager had told me that he was going to suspend me for a week because of the incident. I said if you feel that's what you have to do then ok that's fine. He then said ok then. As I got up to leave he told me that I could not leave until the situation was solved. Was it not solved when he told me that he was going to suspend me for a week? I asked him what else he wanted and he continued to ask me why I was there and then he said I was terminated. He asked if I was ok with that and of course I said I wasn't ok with that but yeah I ended up getting fired. Management then went on to tell the other people in the store what had happened which they had no right to do. I have tried talking to the store manager about it but everytime I call they give me the run around and whenever I go into the store they always tell me I need to leave the store I'm distracting the workers. What do I need to do? I have called Human Resources and they aren't doing anything either

I recently purchased the sonotrax b fetal doppler from amazon.com because someone suggested it. They said they heard the heartbeat at 12 weeks using it. The purchase info said I could hear a heartbeat between 10-11 weeks. I am 13 weeks 1 day today with twins and I tried to use it. The display kept coming up with numbers but I couldn't hear a heartbeat. Am I doing something wrong? I was standing while using it so should I try laying down? I never used to go to the toilet during the night, and always waited until the morning. However, now during the last few days I have noticed that if I don't go during the night, after I go during the morning I get intense abdominal pain and feel physically sick (like about to vomit). I reformatted - windows xp home - now "no audio device found on system". I tried downloading the driver - downloaded - rebooted - "this system does not support the driver you are trying to install". Windows xp was already installed when i bought the computer so i do not have the driver disk. It is an Intel 845Glad P4 mainboard; Ac 97 sigmatel - the driver i tried to install is a sigmatel high definition audio. Why won't my system support it? *the only alteration made to my computer before reformatting was a PCI card installed. I don't know what to try next!

Using exterior house paint is totally unnecessary. A good quality artist's acrylic paint, (such as Liquitex), will work just fine. Once you have finished your painting always make sure that you finish by sealing your work with a topcoat. I would suggest applying at least two coats. Once it is sealed you should have no problems regarding chipping or pealing no matter what the weather.

I've been a chain smoker for 5 years (since age 20), and I quit a couple months ago (cold turkey). For me personally, weaning off cigarettes or taking gum or patches didn't work, I just woke up one morning and decided to quit on my own. The first week of quitting, I started juicing every morning to keep my mind off cigs (I used to get the worst cravings in the mornings when cigarettes and skinny latte were always part of my breakfast)...I'd juice different kinds of veges and fruits every day, one day its carrot, celery and apple, next day its gfruit, tomato and cuber, and etc, I think it must have helped detox all the nicotine out of my system...I've actually lost weight since (I was a couple pounds overweight) and my complexion is the best its ever been glad Oh and I don't stink like a mixture of cigarette smoke and perfume anymore super glad, AND I've saved so much money the past couple months because I having been spending them on cigarettes...lots of good things have happened since I quit and I'm really glad I did.

I'm Catholic, and I just came across a video on youtube mentioning that there are gargoyles on Catholic Churches. Now that I think about it, the cathedrals in Europe have them. I'm wondering why? Why do eggs produce such a foul smell on the kitchen utensils?

Whenever I cook some eggs - the utensils that the eggs got in contact with leave some foul smell which makes me shiver in disgust. I've just boiled some eggs, and I had to slice them: the plate, that I sliced them on, produced that unique, revolting smell. And when I put it into a sink and it got into contact with water, it got even worse. I have to actually apply some bleach on the utensils (or squeeze some lemon) in order to get rid of that smell. Why is it that eggs leave that horrible smell on the utensils they came into contact with (especially in a raw, or boiled state)?
