Contouring tips for a masculine look on a feminine face, please!?

For a project, I want to turn my feminine, round face into a more masculine/rugged face with the use of makeup. Are there any tips for stubble/darkening around the "beard" area, and contouring? Help would be appreciated, or else I think I'm just going to look like a very dirty person.
