Backpacking in Europe?

I've backpacked through Europe twice. Trust me, you're in for the time of your life. I'd defenitly do Switzerland, but go to Interlaken instead. Its beautiful, stay at Balmers. I'd also add prague, vienna, and budapest to the mix. The 2 philosophies you must weigh are 1) seeing as many places as you can since the chance to fly out there doesn't happen very often, or 2) Soak up the culture of each city.
