What's the difference between BOEING and AIRBUS aircrafts? Both sound big..........?

There is not much difference (besides Boeing being American and Airbus European). Both manufacture jets, being the two leading aircraft manufacturers today. They are in a tight competition with each other; Airbus produces around half of the world's jet airliners, with most of the rest built by Boeing.
