If you were someone with aspergers' syndrome who was bullied in high school, why were you bullied?

I was bullied in elementary school and middle school because of Asperger's Syndrome. They used to tell me that I go the "stupid kids's room" (special ed room) and most kids thought I was weird but now I'm about to graduate and go to college and what you're counselor said was right. Those people are only trying to get the worst out of you and if I were you I wouldn't hang around with those "friends" that are being mean. They're very immature and need to understand that nobody's the same and we're all unique. Don't listen to those stupid kids. They're ignorant. This is all I have to say but I hope this helps you.
