Has anybody ever had problems with the coil breaking down on their riding tractor.?

It's an Ariens Riding Tractor, hydraulic, 14 Horsepower Koeler Engine. The coil breaks down when it gets hot. It spits & sputters. I have changed the coil 2 or 3 times. It keeps breaking down.
