Help! Why is my baby suddenly so grumpy?

He is 11 weeks old and was such a happy baby til now. He doesn't have a fever but is unsettled, cries a lot and doesn't smile much anymore, fusses when put down to sleep. He is eating a bit less too. I'm worried for him.
