Is it child abuse to put your kids on a reality TV show (like Teen Mom)?

From reality shows like Teen Mom to Wife Swap to Jon + Kate Plus 8. Do you think that publicly broadcasting kids on reality TV is child abuse? Would you yourself want some of your most embarring childhood antics on television and do you think that putting children in the spotlight will have adverse effects on them in the future?
