Blurb05 If cause of death is from morphine and high Pco2 level what would the pathologist look for in Autopsy?

First of all, you'd probably want to check out the nervous system which consists of both the brain and spinal cord. Why? Morphine alters neurons so that one can't feel pain. Now, I can't find anything that I would look for with a naked eye but I know for sure I would look at brain because of dopamine receptors (morphine causes dopamine overflow which causes the "happy" feeling. Personally, that's what I'd look for. Sorry to hear about your lost..
